*60年代西海岸のヒッピー・カルチャーをルーツに発展したオリエンタリズム、スピリチュアリズム、オカルト、新興宗教など、70年代後半から80年代前半まで、字のごとく"新しい時代"を掲げ大きな社会的ムーヴメント。10年代においては、時代からかき消されたことにより朧げとなったそのイメージとサウンドはネットを徘徊する新世代や再発によって掘り起され、USのエレクトロニック・ミュージックのシーンを代表するOPNの活躍により再び脚光を浴び、 80年代のアナログ～デジタル初期のシンセサイザー・ミュージックのリヴァイヴァルから現在ではシティ・ポップにまで連なる広大な文脈を築いている。

オーストラリアはメルボルンを拠点とするAndrew Wilsonのソロ・プロジェクト。 DJでコレクションしていたレコードのサンプリングとMPCで音楽制作を始め、 2010年にロンドンで行われたRed Bull Music Academyの参加をきっかけに本格的な活動を開始、 2012年に12”やボーカルとの共作を立て続けに発表。 その後サンプリングを主体とした構成からヴィンテージのアナログ・シンセへと移行、フィールド・レコーディングを織りまぜたバレアリックなファンクやハウスを発表し、インディーズからハウス / ディスコといったクラブ界隈のシーンを跨ぎ人気を博す。 2013年には盟友Oscarとの共作を発表、また同郷の女性シンガーSuiと共に来日を果たしている。昨年NYの〈Mexican Summer〉よりリリースしたEPと本人がニューエイジの醍醐味だと語る、別名儀 A.r.t Wilsonでのプライベート・リリース『Overworld』が大きな反響を呼び話題となる。 Oscarとの２枚目となる共作ではよりソウルへ接近。ハンド・クラフトなシンセ・ファンクやハウス～アンビエントまでを展開し、 環境音楽やアーバン・ミュージックとしてのニューエイジを現代へと呼び起こす期待の逸材。

The jewel in the crown of Israel’s underground music scene, Red Axes have produced a steady stream of hits on labels like Permanent Vacation, I’m A Cliché, Crosstown Rebels, and on our all-inclusive culti label where they dropped what became, somewhat surprisingly, their biggest hit to date with Waiting For a Surprise. The dark, stripped down disco bomb had one of the most memorable hooks of the year in singer Abrão’s staccato chorus, a late night voodoo incantation that was always begging to be remixed. 

We asked fellow Tel Avivian Moscoman to direct his hot hands to the guitar, mellowing things slightly, stretching out the hooks and adding layers of ambulant percussion to his signature middle eastern flair. The man you love to hate to love breaks his bread and shares it with us all.

Simon Peter makes his Claremont 56 debut with a joyous slice of languid, organic Balearica entitled "Arc Of Lark". The young musician made his debut in February 2014 with the "Double Up EP" on Silhouette Music, which contained the shimmering nu-Balearic disco of “Espacio Temporal”. While that was laden with sun-kissed synthesizers, “Arc of Lark” is a much more organic affair. Blissful electric piano keys, hazy guitars and fluttering flutes cascade over an undulating live bassline and shuffling, bongo-laden beats. Warm and humid, it’s a slice of audible sunshine to brighten up the grim winter months.Long-time friends of the family 40 Thieves handle remix duties, turning Simon Peter’s picturesque original into an effects-laden chunk of slo-mo dub disco goodness. 40 Thieves member Layne Fox loved the track so much that he’s also contributed an additional remix that focues the action around a loose, languid, dub reggae influenced groove, spiralling electronics and Peter’s mesmerizing flute line. It’s a fitting conclusion to a magical label debut.

"THE SADDLE OF THE INCREATE” is a romantic comedy of self about the roping and directing of cattle, sung and spoken by many of the characters involved in the roping and directing of some specific cattle (the Cattle of Geryon for what that’s worth).

This is the first released track, which is 40 HOOVES which is more about the unexpected pleasures found in the difficulties of the directing part, after the roping part.  Right before this part was the roping part, where a character called BLUE GENE says this about the herd:

“adn” is Pinder’s first project in nearly five years, when 2012’s “Careless” made waves in independent Hip Hop. Despite the absence of a new project, Pinder hasn’t been away from music. He’s been more immersed in music than ever, spending the past four-plus years working with some of Hip Hop’s biggest names and brightest rising stars. From managing promising young careers to working closely with the camps of Dr. Dre and DJ Mustard, and developing an independent streaming service startup, which eventually landed him at Pandora; Pinder has become a student of all aspects music.

In short, he’s been evolving as an artist; Refining his craft until the moment felt right.
