Perched high above the desert capital of Jodhpur, Rajasthan, the magnificent Taj Umaid Bhawan Palace is the last of the great palaces of India and one of the largest private residences in the world.

Built between 1928 and 1943 and designed by renowned Edwardian architect Henry Lanchester, the palace is a blend of eastern and western architectural influences. 

The sound designed pièce de résistance sparkles in the majestic 105 - foot high cupola where heavenly harp and Bansuri incense a feminine breeze floating over a controlled deep resonance underlining the manly heroic achievement.   
Sound Designer Arnaud Azzouz  also paid tribute to the original Palace Musician, Ustad Ali Akhbar Khan and his international musical legacy.
