Broken Mind

A collaborative project spearheaded by Ableton Live Certified Trainer & beat wizard Isaac Cotec, aka 'Subaqueous', Silk Drop fuses delectable beats with vulnerable female vocals and live strings. The result is a genre-bending sound steeped in an undeniable viscerality. Cotec has released 9 records in the last 5 years on electronic labels such as Merkaba Music, Critical Beats, and Street Ritual. Vocalist Heather Christie has recently been put on the national stage with American Idol's final season, and her single 'Tincture' is soon to be released and remixed through top indie-electronic online label, Artist Intelligence Agency. 
The Silk Drop sound can be likened to Polica, Galimatius and Glass Animals.
