“5 Stages of Grief” is more than a mix—it's a personal, emotional journey through pain, resilience, and reclamation. 

Created in the aftermath of surviving prolonged abuse by someone within the very industry I call home, this mix is both a catharsis and a call to action.

As I begin to speak out, I am met with silence, doubt, and gaslighting—responses that reflect the deep-rooted issues of complicity and protectionism that plague our community. To be told "but he’s so nice," or "can you prove it" is to have your reality erased. This mix is a direct response to that erasure.

Each track is a step through the complex, raw emotions of grief—from denial and anger to acceptance and beyond. It’s a sonic reckoning with the truth, and a space carved out for survivors who have been silenced, dismissed, or disbelieved.

In honor of SA Awareness Month, this mix is dedicated to every survivor: To those still trapped. To those who got away. To those whose voices were never heard. To those who screamed and were ignored.

You are not alone.
You are believed.
You did not deserve what happened.

I wanted to create something that feels alive — something that hits with heat, moves with purpose, and brings people together. There’s a lot of me in this set: my love for Latin rhythms, my obsession with tight drums, rolling basslines, and that feeling when the drop hits just right. It’s high-energy, playful, and meant for that moment when you're surrounded by strangers, the sun’s going down, and the beat just gets you.

Created for the We Belong Here stage — where every drop, every build, every beat is a reminder that when we show up as ourselves, we all belong.
