Silo - The Year 2014 Mix

I wouldn't normally post a non-psy mix here but had so much fun putting this together. 

Here's my mix from the Soul Food Sessions Vol 5 hosted by High-Fidelity at The Commons last Saturday in Muizenberg, Cape Town, South Africa.
This desert journey starts from 100bpm and ends at 121bpm.

Psilocybe Objective (Original Mix)

Karl Douglas, also known as siLO, is a native of Cape Town who has earned a solid reputation for his skillful transition sets between psy-progressive and layered psychedelic trance.
He started attending festivals and underground events in 1999/2000 when he was 16 years old, and since 2007 he has been playing at many local events in Southern Africa, both outdoors and indoors.

He is admired for his captivating journey sets, blending elements of groove, warm frequencies and a touch of cheeky vibes.
His sound journeys often feature big, atmospheric sound-scapes and pounding layers of psych-waves, giving his audience a seriously groovy, psychedelic experience.

siLO has been honing his craft of psytrance production for almost 20 years and has been DJing for almost as long.
He has released several EPs and VA tracks through Nano Records and Iono Music, collaborating with peers such as Humerous and BearTone among others.

In 2016, Nano Records proudly presented his debut solo EP release “Extraction” which showcased his evolved approach to psytrance.
