Today we're gonna learn how to hunt down and dream about Barramundi in Australia  with two specialists from fucked up stories : Orsett & Fischer ( @decalerecords ). The two men from Décalé. are reporting us a true legend someone relating them far far away in the deep bush.

"Au 113ème jour, l’équipage atteignit le détroit de Torres. Le dernier croissant de lune dessinait un fin trait lumineux sur l’îlot Mabuiag. Une mer d’huile et le “Norther” propice permettait à l’esquif de se frayer un passage aisé entre les archipels. La pénombre maintenait l’équipe éreintée en éveil, mais les quelques miles qui les séparaient de Cairns semblaient une éternité. Le Corail scintillant dans la nuit les dirigeait enfin vers cette terre promise. Arrivé à bon port, trois jours de marche les séparaient de l’humide forêt de Danbulla. Les hommes esquintés par la traversée finiraient alors par atteindre le sombre lac de Tinaroo.

Le déchargement au port de Cairns fut bref mais rude tant la frêle esquif contenait de matériels. L’équipage était composée des plus grands pêcheurs d’eaux douces. Parmis eux, le capitaine Gébois, spécialiste des terres australes, à l’origine de l'expédition. Il avait eu vent, lors d’un passage en Papouasie, de la fameuse pêche au Barramundi. Lors d’une escale festive aux senteurs de canne à sucre, un pêcheur Papou lui révéla alors qu’une tribu aborigène, les Kuku Yalanji, vouaient un culte au Yarru: le grand Silure Albinos. 

Au 121ème jour, l’équipe se glissait péniblement dans la forêt de conifères. L’atmosphère humide et la légère brume lagunaire donnait une ambiance mystique à cette marche harassante. Parmi l’équipage se tenait une solide silhouette qui se déplaçait avec aisance en tête de cortège: Herr Courrel, spécialiste incontesté de la traque du silure. Au bout de la forêt, ils arriveraient au premier village de pêcheurs Kuku..."

Olya Smok ( @olya-smok ) just came back from a journey through the seven seas. This is the story of her odyssey. 

"My fishermen were standing on the coast of a forest lake on an early spring Saturday morning, the sun was rising, warm on their backs. 
 
Mermaids were messing around in the water, pretending to be dolphins. The scales on their tails were shining like diamonds in the beams of the morning light. Kids on the opposite coast were catching the dazzling reflections with their pocket mirrors, projecting those at the fishermen. Their laughter was echoing through the canopy of yawning trees. Trying to take their morning shower, little birds were flying around the water splashes created by the mermaids. 
 
Shh everyone, listen, the little gecko on the stone over there is crying. The mermaids swam towards it.
 
 - Why are you crying, wonderful little gecko? 
 - I am sad, but the tears are falling by themselves. I don’t want them. 
 - Poor little gecko. Please don’t cry. Look how beautiful this morning is. 
 - I know, but I’m all alone on this stone. I want to share everything I see with someone but I am all alone on this stone. All alone.
 - Oh dear. Never heard nonsense like this. Look how many of us are around you! Mermaids, birds, trees, water, kids, fishermen! Remember, you’re never alone until you want to be alone. 
 
The mermaids stroked the gecko’s little head. It smiled. The last teardrop fell down the stone and joined the forest lake. 
 
Shh everyone, look how beautiful this morning is."

Ramses ( @ramsesgoldenguy ), is one of Lyon's young heads to keep an eye on ! Iconic member of the Discolored Field chicos, he just released 4 bass music heaters through his first vinyl solo EP and he's about to finish the construction of his own soundsystem. For this podcast, we asked him to get closer to his Christiana Vindictae ambient alias, it resulted in a beautiful hour of folk, pop and ambientish dreamscapes.

Pascal ( @pascalviscardi ) is a long time friend of us and an experimented sea adventurer. We asked him to recount one of his best memories and it resulted in this wonderful hour full of twists, starting with the prologue below :

10.07.88 – L’aube se lève, notre vaisseau de fortune quitte les bords de la marina, par-delà les frontières et les repères. Nous sommes environ cinq et, avant tout ça, je ne connaissais personne. Pas vraiment ou pas dans cette vie. Du moins, certainement pas avant la nuit précédente ; lorsque nos esprits décidèrent de prendre le large. Déshydratés et déchainés, affranchis. À la cherche des secrets du cosmos. Naïvement. Là où les visions d’extase défilent comme des comètes capricieuses, dans un ciel d’été. Passons. Les premiers rayons du soleil apparaissent, rebondissent sur les vagues, se frayant un chemin par-delà l’horizon pour caresser ma rétine. Tout est iodé, mystique et complet. Accompagné du chant exaltant des oiseaux, le moteur de la barque résonne avec assurance vers l’infini comme un mantra. Je regarde la fille assise devant moi, son bandana et sa banane fluorescente. Elle me sourit et me dit que là où nous allons, il serait présent pour nous accueillir. Je la crois, sans savoir trop pourquoi et ferme les yeux. Vêtu d’une longue toge blanche, à moitié immergée dans la mer, entouré de quatre autres de ses disciples, c’est bien lui qui nous attend. Très vite, son regard électrique croise le mien et un dialogue s’instaure. « Sais-tu pourquoi tu es là ? ». « J’imagine pour vous rencontrer ». « Non, tu es là pour trouver l’état de silence infini ».
