This week on Drumcode Radio we have a mix from Adam Beyer recorded on the third weekend of Tomorrowland in Belgium

This set was recorded in the National Park of Circeo on the 24.8.22 a few meters away from the Tyrrhenian Sea. There were 60 people audience lying on the sand, a few candles and a 4+1 Turbosound system.
I played my own productions including a few unreleased tunes.

Aspetuck is an American producer & DJ fascinated by groove & rhythm as well as the hypnotic nature of the deeper sides of electronic music. Growing up in sleepy Vermont, without easy access to any inkling of a nightlife scene, the internet was Aspetuck's only form of musical discovery for those formative days. Years later, after living in both Brooklyn and Los Angeles, Aspetuck was very quickly drawn into the robust nightlife cultures of both cities that was so absent in the rural hills of the northeast. He is not only inspired by the current scene but also heavily inspired by genres outside of the contemporary electronic world including but not limited to krautrock, dub, new wave / post-punk, shoegaze, jazz, soul & funk.  Immersing himself in both music production and photography, two creative outlets that seemingly complement & balance each other, he is quietly finding his voice with the help of a broad range of influences to draw from.

Hello it’s Anja Schneider and this is the Club Room for this week. We’re gonna have one hour of great music coming up and we’re gonna start with Moktar - North Africa, then we’re gonna have a new one of myself - Deep Gone Far, it’s a track which is on the Sous Music compilation. It’s the first Various Artists compilation of my label, which is gonna be released on the 18th of November, so I am really excited for this. Then I played last week in Luzern and I met Reznik from Keinemusik and he gave me a new track together with Mikesch - One More. Skream & Jansons are on the show, then I have a new favourite from Confidential Recipe - Once Again, Markantonio together with Drumsaw - Tribe, then another Confidential Recipe and then we’re gonna have Aeschlimann, Interplanetary Criminal, Lawrence Hart and the Club Room ends with another track by me - I Can’t See Me No More. This is a track that is going to be released on the 20 Years of Watergate Compilation, the inhouse label of the club in Berlin, so check this out! 

I have to make an announcement because I’m releasing this Various Artists Sous Compilation with great artists and I am super proud of that! Everyone is an outstanding talent, so from next week on I will present to you each Club Room one of the artists from the compilation so I am gonna relax and I just present to you these wonderful talents. We’re gonna start next week with one of my favourites Diego Infanzon. You have to check them all out because they are super cool.

Whether on their Orion imprint or Molly’s RDV, one has grown to expect nothing short of spectacular when it comes to Orion’s output, and this mix is no exception.
The Italian duo delivers an hour of their own productions, starting out slow, slowly building up and working through a trip of ambient house and dub techno, eventually closing with a Burial-esque tune.

I got invited by the talented and genuine Hannes to play some records at one of his Bikes & Beats sessions at Fensterplatz Heidelberg. Next door he fixed some old bikes to find them a new owner. Setting up a camera and putting both, the DJ booth and the workshop on Facebook Live, might just be another creative way to keep our spirits strong, while getting fat on our couches.

Anyway...I really like broken beats.
