Conarium, the pineal gland; the seat of the soul. The part of the body, the material world (res extensa - as René Descartes called it) where consciousness (res cogitans) resides. Finding balance between our soul and our body is essential for our well-being. The frequencies of 72 Hz, 144Hz (and so on) can aid us in opening our third eye, our Conarium. This piece of music - featuring resonant didgeridoo-like sounds mixed with synthesizers, choir chants and rhythmic percussion - is written as a kind of meditation to assist in finding balance between res extensa and res cogitans.
