Here is the long awaited John Wyse (Silverbox) & Annie Lovell collaboration. The two met at Brooklands Radio in February 2012 where radio presenter David Durant, suggested the the two should come back to Brooklands & perform a collaboration. This was the start of a life long friendship, where John & Annie became the best of friends. Many songs were suggested but the two decided not to rush things & wait for the right choice of song to present itself. In the end it would be Kyla Wight (Silverbox Manager) that would introduce John to 'The Civil Wars' & recommend that he & Annie collaborate on 'Poison & Wine.' However with such busy schedules it would be October 2012 before recording.

The track was recorded in John's home studio & saw a day of rehearsing before the two returned to put it down.
