"Get Up" hits you with a rolling bassline that brims with plenty of pant flapping groove & wah wah guitar licks before that ever so familiar vocal kicks in for a full on Reggae Disco workout. "Weird Safari" certainly lives up to its name - a stripped back, dark & almost Techno sound, alongside tinkering percussion and spaced out wild animal noises surely make for a weird safari. "Dubby Pino" has you from the off, all the foot stamping & money shaking elements are present - hooky guitar, fat bass loop, infectious percussion, soulful vocal licks and a gorgeous little piano break.
"Mr Rossi's Backpain" starts off by getting the award for the best song title we've ever had on Rack & Ruin, but as well as that it's in the proper groovy dance floor tackle category with a bassline & guitar that commands your respect and then when the 4/4 kicks in at 1 min, well just have a listen.

"Enfant Terrible of the disco scene, Gallic genius Young Pulse returns to GAMM with the second instalment of his "Paris Edits" series. If you copped the first volume then you'll know exactly what's on the menu; funk, soul and disco grooves and no messin' around! We head straight to the club on the A-side with "Enjoy & Relax", as Young Pulse reworks (or is that remixes?) Rhyze's soulful disco stomper to perfection. The re-EQed kick and bubbly bassline are as meaty as your local charcuterie, while the uplifting chord progression adds a subtle hint of fromage to get your tastebuds working overtime. Don't be put off though, I'm thinking more the mild flavour of Brie than the hefty pong of a Pont l’Eveque. ‘Lazy Bones’ will be Future Unit’s third release.  It started with Bill Brewster playing it on his weekly podcast and next THE Ashley Beedle is shouting its Balearic brilliance from the twitter rooftops! 

The original combines an insistent 70’s Italian library music inspired hook with crunchy beats and cosmic synths.  Paired with slacker lyrics, it’s your unofficial alternative summer soundtrack; baggy guitars, eclectic electronica, loose, uplifting sounds, fat, acid basslines and insistent, earworm melodies. 

Remixes come from three highly respected remixers, all drawn to the original through social media word of mouth. 

Iberian edits supremo James Rod takes the lazy hazy beats of the original, plumps and pumps them, adds in washes of reverb, bubbly synths and a general feeling of mañana! 
No introductions needed for Ashley Beedle who takes the playfulness of the original vocal and adds a nice thick slice of deft Rhodes work and funk drumming. The outcome? A lazy day in 70’s San-Fran, looking at the Golden Gate bridge through an acid haze! 
Rubberlips' remix takes the original into big soundscape territory recalling Manc legends World Of Twist. The laid back vibe of the original is taken to a sun lounger for a cocktail and a psychedelic or two with added bass from Randy Martin.

The original and all remixes will be available both digitally and on limited edition vinyl (though huge initial interest means a possible repress) through Ramrock Red Records.
