Bringing our DECENNIUM series to a worthy finale, is our co-founder and longstanding resident, Michael Silmon aka Kodah.

From our inception in Newcastle Upon Tyne in 2010, and since our London journey began in 2012, @kodah has gained a reputation for his impeccable curation and has frequently brought the most cutting-edge lineups to some of the best club venues in London, most notably @foldldn where a strong family bond has been formed, and where he has found his true, spiritual home in London, both as an external promoter / curator, but also now as a resident DJ. Kodah has always maintained an uncompromising adherence to our firm policy of underground electronic music, bridging the heavier spectrum of Techno, Electro, Acid, etc. with new style and form, whilst always paying homage and striving to immortalise the traditional and original roots from which we have grown.

Kodah brings the same wide-ranging musical knowledge and passion for warped, hard-hitting electronics to his productions and he is now firmly cementing his status in the London underground. Recent years have seen Kodah play amongst heavyweights in the Techno and Electro scenes, that include; The Advent, Regis, The Fear Ratio, Speedy J, Kamikaze Space Programme, Claro Intelecto, Conforce, The Exaltics, Scan 7, Developer, DJ Skull, Sterac, E.R.P. & many more.

For this exclusive DECENNIUM mix, Kodah did what he does best and what himself and Natural Selection have gained notoriety for; meticulously and successfully weaving together diverse Electronic forms, some of which would not normally be attempted. As usual the result is a unique and radiant journey of sound, which captivated us for it’s entirety.

For the third episode of their show Unravel, James Lotion has invited the Berlin based queer music nerd Golden Medusa for a digital B2B. 

On the contrary to a classic B2B this one was recorded from their homes in Copenhagen and Berlin over a period of two weeks of sharing emails. One by one they recorded a part of the mix, each time responding to the previous recording. 

The result is a moody, chuggy adventure featuring downtempo moments, erratic breaks, emotional melodies and experimental sound design.

In solidarity with the Palestinian people they end the mix with Jessika Khazrik's track Kushajam's Recital استظهار كُشاجم - which revisits an Abbasid poem around a cosmic water clock, written by a 10th c. Palestinian poet.''

Refectori is the project of the young catalan Xavier Longàs. Based on the experimental sound, that highlight physical and voluminous forms that roam glacial landscapes. Diving through dense and icy seas, it slowly emerges into light, encountering the earthly world between reverberated voices and nostalgic melodies.

The distortion of organic sounds arrives to wide landscapes of noise, sometimes moderated and in others uncontrolled or ramshackle. Noises that are juxtaposed in a constant dialogue until its definitive bifurcation. Sounds built with ramshackle fragments of past memories that are being well shaped and designed in a sturdy manner. Memory (that we need) even ramshackle. 

He has performed in different concert halls and festivals held in Barcelona such as MIRA Festival 2019 focused on the more ambient side of the spectrum featuring a visual work by Júlia Aguilar. His latest album “Tundra” was released on Barcelona-based label Hedonic Reversal latest january 2021. 

A really unique and true artist who constantly nourishes the everyday sounds that surround him (Zoom H5 always in hand) with which he later experiments, manipulating and gathering them until creating a overwhelming musically harmonic composition.
