mouth. As such, this track links back to 'Beautiful Brown Leather Gloves'. The wise, comforting presence of the parent/ lover grows from this child... So we're all just big kids basically.... Yes Dr Freud but I feel like a pair of curtains...Well pull yourself together man!

There really should be a 'handle with care- fragile' sticker on this. The world drifts away in the background, distorted into a slow drone, it's away- out there and we are in here and in hear. A perfect mood piece. There's a tingle up my spine and I'm hugging my pillow like there's no tomorrow...

A response to 'Secret Baby' I tell myself when in danger of over-identifying with this Zen missive. It's not defeatist to admit you have no control over events, though we live in a world where to admit this is tantamount to social and professional suicide. It is arrogant to believe otherwise- cases in point- the Titanic, the British weather and September 11, 2001. In the darkness of the soul, after the sweeping vistas, when everything is black, twisting and pernicious, this is the soundtrack. In the Western world self pity and self reasoning leads only to frustration and rage against all we cannot control. It's a kind of madness. We 'go postal' with clanging, slo-mo shots of confusion. If it was about me I'd be spooked right back into my corner.
