Kraken

Unrilis returns with a new peak time techno release from Spanish artist Sara Krin who makes her debut of the record label with this three track EP.

Sara Krin has a dark and hypnotic style with industrial influences and she has dropped tracks on other scene leading record labels such as Ramon Tapia's Say What?, T78's Autektone and Odd Recordings which is run by Ramiro Lopez and Arjun Vagale.

Already a well-known DJ on the Spanish scene, she is making her debut on Unrilis with an EP that showcases why she has been rising though the ranks so quickly. Unrilis is an imprint that showcases the best upcoming techno talent after they gave early releases to the likes of Joseph Capriati and Luigi Madonna, so it seems clear that Sara Krin is on a similar path.

"Attack" opens the release with an onslaught of brutal percussion layered with rave synth stabs to create a dance floor weapon worthy of its title. "Ants" is a dark and hypnotic track with eerie tension and fast-flowing percussion. "Attack Intro" is an ambient version of the lead track that's the perfect set opener for those looking to build suspense at the start of a DJ mix.

Tomas Otero's 'Can't Stop' EP is the third release from the young but well formed Volta label from Victor Ruiz. It features two originals and two remixes from Drunken Kong and Alex Stein.

The EP opens up with 'Can't Stop' which brings up dark serrated synths looping over the face of the tune as powerful techno beats drive below. Celestial keys bring some eeriness to this tense and tough cut.

Drunken Kong’s Remix of the main track then has a shuffling, all consuming techno groove with vast swathes of bass and pulsing synths. It shows why the Japanese dynamic duo have been on all top Techno DJ’s playlists.

'High Voltage' brings a more serene and spaced out feel thanks to the sustained chords that hang in the air above the rock solid kicks and an LFO led hook that makes this a B-side as solid as the A-track.

Closing the EP with majesty, Alex Stein brings a remix with some techno funk, lush loopy melodic patterns, high end sound design and more rolling drums. It’s peak-time anthem that rocks all dancefloors.

This is top level stylish techno.

So he's back on Yin Yang. Axel Karakasis with his track Hang Up. The Original track is a rolling baseline hands in the air peak time techno track that is the trademark of this Greek techno legend.  A fine tune.

First remix is by Bosnia and Herzegovina's Alen Milivojevic. This is an amazing remix in a newer much slower groovier style for Alen. It's funking but keeps peak time. This is an absolute belter loud and I can see this be played over and over for along time, especially me.

Next up is Sweden's Andy Notalez for a slightly darker style mix. This guy defines what a darker mix is. Great atmospherics. Great remix.

Then we get Spain s maginfico duo Dualitik. Now this is a funky remix with lots of groove built into the baseline. A Fantastic Remix.

Italy is next with Irregular Synth. Taking it his way thats tougher techno, yet still dark.

Then we have another Spanish guy MAAE. Delivering a new style techno that defines him. Really good.

Another top release for Yin Yang, with plenty of different style of mixes for everyone.

LOCO & JAM are Northern Irish based Techno duo made up of Lloyd Reid and James Peoples. Formed in 2007 they have went from strength to strength playing clubs and festivals worldwide.
Throughout their 10 year rise the guys have been killing the Techno charts and now have a healthy CV with a list of Productions and Remixes on major labels around the world .
Now they moon-landing on Silver M with three tracks E.P. full of techno sounds and expressive bass-lines rolling over classics synths and a lot of groove. 

The first song is the one that gives name to the EP, 'Stressed'.
In the first section we can observe the clear intentions of Loco & Jam to move the track to a powerful darkness where the KIKs take the control over the groove and mark the evolution of the track towards surreal vocal atmospheres and a very open HH that give the necessary illumination to see through it.
A club burner.

In the second cut, “Three” we discover a female voice that guides us wrapped in highs frequencies charged with reverberation towards a deep and bubbling synthesizer that, accompanied by some good kiks, causes us to wake rise-up after rise-up.

'We Came To Rave' makes it clear in his title. A track born with party vocation, produced with classic cuts of break beat and oldies sounds; Retro atmospheres and voices that recall the clubs of Ibiza in their glory years, Loco & Jam take their way more retro without leaving aside the punch that characterizes them by placing good drums, perfectly produced and equalized harmoniously. 
A marvel of track that returns to life some of the sounds with which the electronica grew in Europe.

And we have got two amazing tracks from master inside.Release tittle pumping work named Over - this track has amazing groove and really wicked synth line. Dance-floor tested banger, overloaded with sunshine energy from God blessed motherhood of our hero.Falls Down is another killer track from Axel. Diamond combination of pumping deep bass, percussions, atmospheric-vox samples and wild ride loops. As result we have outstanding techno-floor destroyer!Traditionally you will find Spartaque's remix in the pack. Good example of modern eclectic between techno rhymes and groovy house percussion loops mixed with funky baseline and wicked synth sample from original track. Of course Blonde's breakdown with amazing original explosion at the end included!
