Number twelve in our Break 3000 revisited classics series looks back at the House tracks made in Berlin. The cool jam "New Soul" was released on Dirt Crew Recordings as part of the "Deep Love 2" compilation in 2012. The spacey "Solaris" and dubby "Dopamine" are unreleased pearls we found on an old hard disk and both were produced in the period between 2008 and 2012. Now freshly remastered they sound really nice actually :) hope you Enjoy!

Active since the early ‘90s, House & Techno mainstay @SteveBug requires little introduction, having contributed to the likes of Bedrock, Knee Deep In Sound, Minus, Cocoon, and Defected, alongside running his own Poker Flat and Sublease Music labels, amongst others. Now making his return to Will Saul’s Aus Music following his ‘Back To ‘95’ EP in 2022, the Berlin-based DJ/producer readies three
bumping House tracks across his new EP, ‘Piano FM’.
Title track ‘Piano FM’ leads the release, bringing thumping kicks, soaring vocal samples, and piano stabs
together for a chunky house jam topped off with deep, rubbery bass. ‘The Moment’ forms a shuffling groove,
peppered with dubbed-out samples and rolling chord progressions for a heads-down groover. ‘Use Me’ combines swirling keys and pitch-perfect drums with bouncing low-end, emotive vocal snippets, and subtle synth licks, rounding out a standout EP from one of the best to do it. Steve Bug ‘Piano FM EP’ drops via Aus Music on 10th March as a Beatport exclusive, followed by a worldwide release on 24th March 2023

For A1 we have our hommie Pavel Iudin (Paul Yudin) who is back on Heisenberg after a great success of his Dubrawa track. A2 is our newcomers Worker Union duo from France who were previously noticed at EarlyDub Records. B1 is fat bassline minimal banger «Move Data» where our good friend Patrice Meiner teams up with Alejandro Vivanco, and last but not least is Anton Kubikov (SCSI-9) with his unique sound signature.

07. The Gathering - In My System  ( Jef K System Remix) [Silver Network]

Everyone seemed to have an opinion on which version of The Gathering's "In My System" was the foremost. Chez Damier, Chris Carrier, I:Cube, Milton Jackson and The Revenge all remixed the track—of which an original was never released—although the version that rang loudest, longest and truest was Jef K's System Mix. House music may have reverted to groove-based thrills in recent years (and "In My System" had plenty of 'em) but the Frenchman's remix was all about a single moment: the split second of silence before its bass and drums returned thrillingly to the fore.
