Spoon And The Stars

I spotted this bear on my security camera one day. A week later, he came up behind me when I was watering our plants! He just nuzzled up  beside me and got a drink from the garden hose as I held it for him. I was a bit nervous.
  
The following day, I found him basking in the sun on my hammock. He had my neighbor's transistor radio on his his chest... and he was fiddling with the knobs looking for some John Denver music.

 I decided to call him "Denver" after that incident. Denver and I became good friends over the summer and I would often jam with him on my guitar. He could hold a tune pretty well for a bear.

 This track is the only one we learned to play all the way through. Denver usually had trouble staying focused. I often had to pinch his ear to get him to sing in the right spots.  This song is mostly the bear's work though.

I guess he is hibernating now. I hope he comes back in the Spring. I miss him. He is probably in his "DENver" nearby.
