The story of Stoop Kid is a legend, passed down from grade to grade... for nearly 30 years. 

In the beginning, like so many of us, Stoop Kid was just a baby. A baby left mysteriously, on the stoop of that building. Some say, he was abandoned there. Others, say he was dropped there from the sky, by aliens... and still, others say, he grew from a seed lodged in the cracks of the sidewalk. Whatever the reason, lo & behold, tiny Stoop Kid was left to raise himself... on the stoop, in which he was fated to call his home. As he grew, he came to know & love his stoop, as his only family... but, there was also a dark side. Embittered by the love and normal boyhood that was stolen from him, Stoop Kid became meaner and meaner, by the day. He began to lash out at the passersby. Taking out upon them, the anger of a young loveless child. He became so protective of his stoop, that who so much as looked at it, would face the wrath of the Stoop Kid. His accusatory barbs and yay, even physical violence.

The story behind this song in short was witness another woman go through the same horror as I was experiencing simultaneously during a party.  Based on true events, it takes place in an apartment during a crazy night of heavy drinking gone wrong, and how the influences of alcohol can bring out the demons in anyone.

Originally this was track number 4, but I'm posting this first because I read some messages that kinda broke me a little, and this song reminds me of that headspace all over again.  Soon that path will be behind me, as this is the EP to heal from these darknesses.   This is the first one.

I honestly don't have a real description.  It's more like the concept itself.

It started out with piano.  As it always does, and my idea was, "I want this to be a beautiful song."  And now it's something else...  Which is beautiful in itself, but also mildly disappointing.
