After spending some years developing this beautiful adventure, where I have been able to meet great DJs and producers, and where it has been a great pleasure to be able to work with all of them at a maximum level, I must say goodbye to this beautiful, fun and magical channel, with this new and last episode 40 to close this wonderful journey.

I wanted to make this channel in homage and gratitude to the music that has given me the opportunity to go back into this wonderful world once again, although in a more relaxed way. The idea was to create a channel with a magical and deep style, with a simple idea of ​​superhero children, to have the feeling that we were flying together in each of the episodes feeling big and powerful like them. I hope I have achieved it. But now I need that time to continue learning and improving in the world of production, which is another part of music that fascinates me. I will continue to maintain my B2B channel, although with fewer collaborations, I will also do some collaborations on some radio and with some good friend, but I am very sorry, since I had a great time and I had become fond of this channel, I must close it.

I want to sincerely thank all the people who have supported us and who have taken the time to listen to us, to all the DJs and producers who have collaborated offering a high level of commitment and professionalism, and who have made this channel maintain that high level in each of the episodes. "Darien J, based in Brighton UK, is a performer, curator, and mixer of deep dance music. He has a firm belief that his music is for dancing not chin-scratching, foot-gazing, ego-stroking, or selfie-taking. Like a musical sponge, Darien constantly absorbs wide-ranging influences and is wrung out on radio stations and dance floors around the world. Totally ignoring genre limitations, he manages to combine elements from the deepest side of house, electronica, and techno in both his live performances, DJ sets, and productions.

This kind of petulant behaviour might be expected from a young upstart new on the scene but believe it or not this is a veteran of over 20 years who has the dance moves to match. Since his debut release of The Dubstar EP on Cubism Records in 2008 his skills in the studio have improved in equal but opposite measure to the decrease in tempo of the music he is willing to dance to. His latest live project has been described as sounding like ‘the abandoned love child of a twisted love triangle of Stimming, Saytek and Kink’.

Over the years Darien’s music has found homes on other trendy labels like Motek, Submarine Vibes, Inside Out, Chapter 24, and Polyptych amongst others. Following a busy 2023 in the DJ booth supporting the likes of Prismode and Solvane, Dubspeeka, and Evil Tom, Darien has also been performing and recording his hardware-only live performances with a view to an album launch in 2024"

Music has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up, I was surrounded by the timeless sounds of my parents' vinyl collection, and I found great joy in exploring the stories hidden within each record. Even in primary school, I was the kid who would bring music to life at events, playing tracks and curating the vibe. My early love for music naturally led me to the decks, where I discovered my passion for DJing and event creation.

After years of refining my craft in the underground scene, I’ve found a sound that truly resonates with who I am. My performances are an expression of the love and energy I pour into every beat, and I’m grateful that this has touched the hearts of so many listeners, both near and far. When I step behind the decks, I’m not just playing music; I’m sharing a piece of my soul, connecting with the crowd through hypnotic beats, rolling basslines, and melodies that reach deep into the spirit. My extensive musical journey has allowed me to bridge genres like deep and progressive house, minimal, techno, and rare grooves from around the world. My goal is to design DJ sets that not only keep the dancefloor energized but also accompany listeners through their day, no matter where or how it's enjoyed.
