In 1991 Jonas Dainius Berzanskis produced a seminal album for Andrius Mamontovas called Gali Skambėti Keistai. (It Might Sound Strange) Andrius composed the track even does it was called a Foje Album, it was the groundwork for his solo career. Dainius has decided to make it soundscape of a his journey over 30 years

Twas An Instamatic Christmas

Music by Andrius Mamontovas, Lyrics by Jonas Dainius Berzanskis inspired by Andrius suggestion of Hysteria. The theme is to get past scrolling, anxiety and hysteria and then resist with Love and Hope and take action with non-violence. Mono or Stereo - Detroit Resistance Mix

In 1991, Jonas Dainius Berzanskis produced " Gali Skambeti Keistai " It Might Sound Strange " in Warsaw Poland. The artist and author was Andrius Mamontovas, and it was Lithuania's first pop compact disc. Dainius decided to produce a personal version and composed English Lyrics and a new arrangement of the tune " Vejas " and tiled it " Winds of Change "  All instruments and vocals by Dainius. Krakova was the seat of the Lithuanian Polish Kingdom, Andrius Mamontovas shout in 1991 at the end of the tune - strangely it's in tune - takes place in the cathedral room of Wieliczka Salt Mine. Winds of Change - Vejas

In the midst of a dream I see a hand - not quite in focus fingers long and slender - not quite awake I feel a presence - not quiet in reach my hand extends - a warm glow envelops - I awake and there he is Smiling!
Dainius Berzanskis dedicates this tune to his grandfathers, Jaroslavas Taujanskas and Jonas Berzanskis, who he never met. The composition came in a dream. The ancient Samagotian pagan folk melody  is interspersed with spoken word. The tune is about the approaching Winter Solstice full moon with a white stag appearing as a totem holding the sun and moon. The Gods dance freezing the landscape

My Grandfathers Hand - Kaleda

In January of 1991 right after the start of the occupation of Vilnius by the Soviet black guard Andrius came by train to Krakova Poland. This tune was part of an impromtu session recorded by Jonas Dainius Berzanskis at a Lithuanian CIA officer's home. The session was pre-production for production of the album "Gali Skambėti Keistai" later that spring in Warsaw. Hmm there just happened to be an acoustic guitar there, and it formed the basis of the production

In the summer of 1991 Jonas Dainius Berzanskis hosted both Bix and Foje in Ann Arbor, MI. This is a track he produced at STS Productions LLC ( Silver Tortoise Soundlab ), Saulius told Jonas that the tune is about time Bix spent being interrogated by the KGB in Vilnius.

1991 Keistuolis ( Freak ) Andrius Mamontovas Krakova PL

An original string quartet arrangement by Aric Jacover of the tune by Gordon Lightfoot from the Album "Music of the Great Lakes"  produced by Jonas Dainius Berzanskis of STS Productions LLC in Ann Arbor for the Rotary Club of Ann Arbor North. This is a fund-raising album and all the tunes and proceeds from this project were donated to the club. Jonas was a board member at that time and cosiders this one of his finest projects. The poem is from Carl Sandberg read by the founder of Washtenaw Community College who loved to impersonate Carl and did a fine job. Dedicated to "Service Above Self" for all.

The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald - String Quartet

Jay Steilstra donated this song to the Rotary Club of Ann arbor North. Jim Perkins plays the bones with Mark Palms on mandolin . The Rouse Simmons was a three-masted schooner famous for having sunk in a violent storm on Lake Michigan in 1912. The ship was bound for Chicago with a cargo of Christmas trees when it foundered off the coast of Two Rivers, Wisconsin, killing all on board. The legacy of the schooner lives on in the area, with frequent ghost sightings and tourist attractions whereby its final route is traced. It was known as "The Christmas Tree Ship" and was one of many schooners to transport Christmas trees across the lake. A song-story about my uncle bronius, who wore green in all shades. He drove a green car. His first memory was getting an apple from his grandad Anatantas berzanskis. He worked at Hudson's in Detroit driving a green delivery truck with packages wrapped in green paper with green string. He bought me a Marx train set for Xmas.
