Isintu EP

"Isintu" is used in the context of the word meaning African language. The EP is a collaboration with Sazi Cele, a renowned songwriter and singer who fused the Afro Electronic sound with an African narrative.



Shwele

"Shwele" directly translates to "Forgiveness" The song is a prayer for divine amnesty. It is referenced from a hymn in the African Zionist church which is a combination of Christianity and African traditional religion. It is a call for divine intervention with the on-going struggles we face in the world. 

Isiphetho 

"Isiphetho" directly translates to "The End". This is a song about the disappointments and broken promises of an inconsistent romantic relationship.

Recorded April 2022, we are super excited to finally share with you this body of work "Spirit" a collaboration between Silvva and Olivia Ambani.

The song serves as a catalyst, urging the listener to unleash the boundless potential of their spirit. Driven by a desire to rise above adversity, the lyrics delve into themes of overcoming fear and doubt. "Help me out, help me rise," reflects the shared aspiration to break free from limitations and embrace personal growth.

Spirit

Uyazenzela is a Zulu word translated to 'Do it Yourself'. The record was written and composed with the aim of inspiring creatives/youth to do things for themselves. The record has two versions (a mesmerizing acoustic version and an organic original mix) also accompanied by two thumbing remixes by GateMusique and Conciiled.

The intro invites a listener to the journey of melodies and percussions, a call to step into a world where these elements are like the trees and building we see.in reality. The imagination of the world as one beat matching machine, The reference here is the Dj, he is the timekeeper, matching the heart beats of the dancing souls, We Imagine A World.

Rango is an afro tech, melodic house record inspired by the anime film "RANGO". In this record Silvva expresses his love for the film with heavy baseline cuts, groovy tom drums and melodic hats. The constant lead sketches the energetic feel from the movie as the baseline and synths paint the element of suspense from his favourite scenes with a modern translated guitar that animates the final drop.

Show me is an anthem and call to action for anyone who desires to be loved unconditionally, carried out by Kusini and Silvva's modern afro tech sounds, with rhythmic basses, drums and electronic melodies accompanied by sultry vocals of talented singer from Kenya, Olivia Ambani.

Vocals tells the story of a rocky relationship, where one partner shows no affection for the other. Expressions of the excruciating frustration and the longing to no longer stay silent in the wake of the relationship are carried out through the melodies which also inspire taking charge and speaking openly and boldly. Show Me was released 2021 via Kazukuta Records and now sees the remixes from Conciiled, GateMusique, Shredder SA and Beta Librae being licensed via Ahead Of Time.

Silvva is a multi-talented producer, re-mixer and deejay from Johannesburg, South Africa, with a subversive sound crafted of heavy, aggressive percussions, heavy deep and dark baselines that echo the renaissance of his African roots.
 The epitome of Afro Electronica fused with Techno, Progressive, Tech-House and tribal house, Silvva’s sound is one never to be missed even epochs down the line. A relentless hardworking artists, Silvva has his name branching out globally and within the music grounds with collaborations with established artist, guest dj mixes on Café Mambo Radio, Pioneer Dj Radio, Yfm, ukhozi fm, Gagasi Fm, Fm4 just to mention a few. Silvva’s progressive, Tech-House hit record, Gota Da Lagrima (released September 2019) saw him mark his territory in the music industry. All his chart dropping music has been released through international labels such as, Sunclock Music, Dansflo Productions, Dm Recordings, Get Physical Music and Kazukuta Records.
Fast forward to 2021 Silvva bagged his first TV gig where he played an intense hour set on Soweto Tv, and His 2021 releases were, Show Me, a collaboration between Kusini and Olivia Ambani, ‘’Liberation’’ with Prince Kaybee, Baleka Remix, ‘’Not In My Name’’ with KingSfiso, “WTFH”. Uyazenzela Ep and Sunset Ep with Fred Figo were released on his long coming label Ahead Of Time (AOT).
