Dear Friends,

this track right here feels like a true milestone of my musical development. With this, the musical direction of where I want to go becomes more and more clear to me. 

I long for this mixture between ultimate fragility and electronic craziness, which lifts you onto this weird, very emotional level where nothing but the music matters. I find it therefore highly danceable, but not in the mainstream club kind of sense, but more a loose-yourself style. Music that I love to listen and would love to play on a live stage somewhere, sometime. Maybe at sundown. Or sunrise?

We'll see.

Sometimes, it takes me a really long time to finish a song. This track here originates from an idea I had in September 2013, it then became an instrumental for a singer I wanted to work with, which unfortunately never happened. Now, I have given it a new ending of which I hope that it does the track justice. 
It's really hard for me to write this kind of music, which is more solemn and seemingly more deep than some of the "fun" stuff I make. But usually, these track also provide me with more joy in the long run. I really hope you like it as well. Feel free to download, share and comment. You can also remix this or any other track of mine if you'd like. Just ask, I'm happy to provide stems :)

I feel afraid, to not let you know.

Another project that took ages to finish. I think the influences of Jack Garratt, Flume and James Blake are quite easy to make out, even though I hope the track is still original. 
I'm relatively happy with the result, although I guess I could have put even more effort into the mix. I feel like I'm coming to a point where mixing is a really big issue, in the sense that I don't feel like I'm good enough to shape the sounds as clearly as I hear them in my head. Would have loved to work with a professional mixing engineer, but I don't know anyone and I don't have the money to give my tracks to people. So I'm stuck with DIY for the moment. A big thank you to Graham from the recording revolution for all the free mixing tips and tricks. Without these, my music would sound even worse :D
