Simangavole marque ses vingt ans de carrière avec ce titre hommage à la famille Ramouche, dont fait parti Katy Toave auteur compositeur et leader du groupe Simangavole. Famille  qui lui a insufflé  son amour du maloya. C'est à 10 ans lors  de sa 1ère fois à la Réunion, au coeur d'un service "Kabaré" qu'elle a entendu ce titre "Douvintan" en "langaz".
