INIT is Benedikt Frey & Nadia D’Alò. We are delighted to present their long delayed vinyl and digital album, NRGY.

Born out of various art performances and installations, INIT states a logical outcome of Berlin based duo Nadia D'Alò and Benedikt Frey. With heavy use of analogue synthesis and drum-machines, INIT rethinks its genre's sonic approach, unfolding a unique and organic, yet alienating sound, somewhere in the mysterious midst of Acid, Techno, Ambient and Kraut-Rock. 

This is INIT's third album, following two releases on Hivern Discs, and performances at clubs such as Berghain, Robert Johnson and Pudel Club.

INIT say - 

Module, NRGY, and Time were reverse extracted out of our live set and re-recorded and re-arranged after we realised how well they work in clubs. It is the first time we worked this way as we tend not to play our compositions live, like we produced them. Mostly we just extract loops out of our production to mess around with in a loose live project. 

Snowglobe, Holes In My CV and N.O.D. were more built up from a studio jam plus a bulletproof-ish arrangement afterwards. 

Tried and tested on dance floors this is a surefire hit album on the dancefloor, and at home. NRGY!

Released on vinyl (and digital) on 27/05/2022. Distributed by Kompakt.

The Amsterdam-based Filament crew have been contributing to the city's left-of-center electronic scene for quite some time now, enriching nights with regular soirées – where guests range from Maurice Fulton to Paramida –, hosting livestream events or playing one of their multi-flavoured DJ sets across town. Distributed by Bordello A Parigi, their newly-founded record label sets out to tell the sonic story through every stage of an event; a tune for every chapter from the lingering suspense and early haze of doors-open to the wind-up power-hour grand hoorah.

Next to the Filament trio making their production debut, the EP features tracks by Monty, Møzaika and Hysteric - who delivers a heavy-hitting Italo cut, with big stabs, drawn-out chords and a relentless arpeggio.

Dresden-and Berlin-based DJ and producer @sneakerdj is one of the underground’s most respected diggers. Managing to find gold where few other DJs care to look, he’s also made his name thanks to his Dunkeltier edits of overlooked Italo and minimal synth jams.

"I tried to play as much obscure and Canadian electronic Disco as possible. So - on purpose - not exactly the cliché Italo disco. Disco Církev had a very welcoming, open, party-hard, gentle crowd like nowhere else! Thanks to everybody who expressed their appreciation in words after my set. Top-notch sound and monitoring at Ankali. I am still happy for the opportunity. I played mostly from vinyl and edited the recording for the best possible listening pleasure."
