The first offering on Australian label Lunatic Music comes from Jamie Blanco of Ess O Ess. Unit of Measure takes the listener on an acid-laced journey, while Sample Bases shows us Blanco’s range and stays true to the title. To complement the release, both cuts have been flipped and remixed. The A-side getting dubbed out by the don Conrad McDonnell of the Idjut Boys, While the B-side cops treatment by local lunatics Dexter Gregg & Mick Harney of Oak Park.

Geneva is a DJ and selector born in Latvia and based in Paris. She used to work as a creative director but her boundless passion for music led to her first set 2 years ago. Despite her short career so far, she has already amassed under her belt gigs in most of the main music venues in Moscow and Sri Lanka. And now she fully intends to keep performing in Paris and travelling worldwide. Her sets are always catchy, high in energy, and full of eclectic sound.

The Imaginarium is a unique pearl gleaming within the beautiful galaxy of Lithuanian festivals. Super small in size, yet abundant in beauty of all kinds, the festival is – first and foremost – about the joy of the creation process. This is an essential aspect of human growth that is often overlooked during modern-day events.

Pretty Much tribe nurtures a culture of support, mutual creation, and skill-sharing. With every third person of the collective having learned how to use the DJ decks, it was only natural to take a step forward into music production. This is how five producers were paired with six beginners to go on a unique musical journey together for this compilation of six tracks. Each of them explores the idea of connectedness because the main theme of The Imaginarium VII was about transforming aloneness into oneness.

We believe that genuine and meaningful connections are what every human being truly seeks. The question then is: what if some of the energy put into hyping up people with big names was redirected into fostering co-creation? How much is it possible for a person to open up due to the environment?

To answer this, Pretty Much tribe has built a utopian village that values sharing over commerce. A space where every individual can bask in the sun of imagination by playing an important part in the collective. Gain a glimpse into The Imaginarium VII by immersing yourself in this idealistic compilation.

Journey to the edge of the Serengeti in Savannah Sundown, the second session by Ap0the0sis. This mix weaves together:

Region & Culture: East African Highlands and Serengeti-edge gatherings, where Rift Valley tribes meet taarab-inflected sunset rites

Vocal Palette: Rhythmic call-and-response chants blending Maasai ululations with taarab-style melismas; sparse vowel rotations (“Oo-ah… Ee-yah…”); whispered Swahili tokens like “Twende,” “Sauti,” and “Mbali”

Instruments & Textures: Ngoma drum ensembles, mbira (thumb piano) plucks, qanun and oud arpège motifs alongside warm electric-bass grooves, shimmering synth pads, and syncopated hi-hats and shakers

Field Ambience: Cattle-bell clusters, distant bird calls, and the evening wind rustling through tall grass

Mood: Golden-hour warmth gives way to dusk-dance momentum and communal ritual energy

Lose yourself in the fire-lit circle of sound and let the savannah’s spirit carry you through each rhythmic turn.
