This spring I have been on a deep dive into Future Disco. It is a corner of the musical world that I knew little about a few months ago. Now it seems to be at the epicentre of my creative process. Here is a sample of a set I recently performed with some of the favourite tracks I have been jamming to.

Here is the first of a series I like to call :
"Chasing The Sunrise" 🌚🌞

For those of you who know me, you know how much I LOVE the magical hours between 3AM until the sun welcomes in a new day.

For those who may find this public statement a little crazy, I respect you just as much as I respect my weird passions like this one.

Every chase is different but one thing they all have in common is that every soul on the dance floor has to be present with purpose. Past a certain hour, the visitors are gone and only the residents of the festivities reside. This creates a unique energy that seems to inspire the best out of me every time.

A clear starting point with infinite possible endings. NOW that's my kind of adventure 🧙‍♂️

The music has to be adaptive and receptive to what each individual is feeling and the overall energy of the group. All bets are off. It is a container where I feel free to explore many types of music without staying in one box.

Learned from observing the Shamanic ways of sensing and guiding, my current medium seems to be whatever turntables are in front of me.

Each one of these sets will vary authentically from the space from which they were birthed from.

This one is the simple desire to smile have fun and get down to a marathon of cool VOCAL tracks !

Chasing the Sunrise Vol. 2 - 

Here is the second volume of the Chasing the Sunrise Series. 
This recording was performed on July 16th at the Lotus Island Event. 

Tribal energy to open and close, with a roller coaster of rumbling base and high-flying synthesizers flowing through the core of the journey. 
X marks the spot!

Chasing The Sunrise [Vol 2]  - Lotus Island Experience

My artistry is to create musical adventures. Tales that weave through the space and energy of the moment. This story was one built in the land of fairy tales where anything can come true. Grounds that radiate magic that shapes and rebirths all in its glow.

This story is one of darkness to light. An emotional tale of intensity, catharsis that leads to the well-earned blissful reprieve that life always brings us after difficult times.

A set that starts in the depths of the night then welcomed in the golden light of day with embraces, smiles and tears of joy.

As the decks were not warmed up before I jumped on, I made the decision to really ease into my sound and build towards peak moments. In the past, I have been guilty of coming into sets guns blazing, like a wild animal released from a cage. I guess knowing when to bring which foot forward is part of my maturing into a more complete Tune Selecta & Human being.

Enjoy the ride and feel free to skip forward depending on your mood. If you want to fast-track the vegetables and go straight to the desert it's totally fair game.

Chasing the Sunrise [Vol 8] - PUBLIC SECRET NYE 24'

So happy to share this live recording of my set at Envision 2024 from the deep jungle of Costa Rica. Operation Love Life is definitely in full swing.

It was an honour to stand on the iconic Lapa stage, tickle its amazing sound system and groove to one for most electric dance floors in the world. 

Envision will always hold a special place in my heart. The humans it attracts and the values it stands on are in full alignment with who I am an artists and more importantly a person.

As a fan, I loved sticking around to shimmy shake to many other incredible sets all weekend. Sticking my feet on dance floors and locking in is really important part to gather as much inspiration from other as possible. Making space to shut off my brain and just enjoy others do their thing. My highlights of the week were Paso Doble, Maga, Drisss Skali, Parallelle & Chaim.

This sonic ride is my funky twist on the raw energy that these grounds evoke. Some unreleased thunder hiding in the cracks of this one.

Massive props to everyone who put this gathering together, I offer this set a token of my appreciation to your work. Otter if you read this, special thanks for how you held down Lapa all week. Of course deep respect for brother Driss for getting me out there.

Also blessed I got to share this moment with the home town homies Papa Tosh & Hunks / Unks, love you both.

Hey kiddos, 

Here is a heartfelt mix from the iconic Piknic Électronik. 

It was more than special to share this moment with so many loving faces that have been supporting my journey from day 1. Piknic is an important heart beat to Montreal dance culture, and it was an honour to add my herbs & spices to the Fizz stage on this day.

This is a happy set. 
This is a daytime groover. 
This is a "sometimes we don't have to take life too seriously" set. 
This is I will always be a kid at heart set. 

Melancholy and astral journeys can take a little break for once for some good ol' fashion summer fun! 

Most songs are woven together in the form of live remixes. For high impact moments like this, I pride myself in creating new songs in real time and keeping the pace of change rapid and unpredictable. Not sure what style of mixing one would call it, but I enjoy doing it, and hopefully the smile it brings to my face translates & tickles your ears as much as it does to mine.

So happy to share this mix for so many reasons. 

Front republic is where my journey all started three years ago. On that day, the founder and my friend Anthony Durbano went out on a limb a let me touch the big stage for the first time and since that day there has been no looking back. One of those life-changing moments to which I owe my life to. 

FRP is a microcosm for what accepting our inner beauty is all about. 
It is unapologetically it's self. 
It does is best, and it's best is far from perfect, and that what I love about it. All that really matters about it is that it comes from a place of love, passion and our intention. I hope to show up like this festival does to its participants. Doing my best and simply being myself. 

Coming straight from the burn to this campground was perfect. Most importantly, my creative juices were going crazy. This daytime mix represents my style in many ways. A smorgasbord of different styles and flavours tightly packed into a 90minute musical ride.  The sun came out then the rain & then the sun again, my brain and the weather synced up in a dance of confused bliss.
