Seit den frühen 00er Jahren im Hip Hop-gentrifizierten Lüneburg dabei, steht Simelli heute für wuchtige bassgeladene Tanzmusik, die sich zwischen Trap, Rap, Booty Bass und 808-Geballer einpendelt. Beeinflusst ist Simelli sowohl von den Klassikern der Golden Era und den frühen Deutsch-Rap-Vorreitern, als auch vom Dirty South Movement und deren Protagonisten. 
Unverwechselbar ist seine Präsenz hinter dem Mischpult. Ein unter 
seinen Mitstreitern selten gesehenes permanentes Grinsen und die nahezu unbändige Freude über eine tanzende Crowd zeichnet diese aus.
