Here is the recording of the liveset I played at cosy festival last Sunday! I am so happy I decided to hit record on this occasion, which I rarely do with live sets, but I had the feeling, like this one could be special and it was! It was such a huge joy to close this stage for the festival with the cutest crowd ever. I just felt a calm and warm joy with everyone happily wobbling to the downtempo flow, like everyone is taking deep happy breaths. It was exactly that deeply heartfelt energy I am missing on dance floors these days so often. So I am mega happy to have captured it and am able to share this with you guys. Its some old tunes, some new tunes, I hope you like it never the less <3

We did it again! 

Am Mittwoch vorm Mystic Creatures Festival rief mich Camilla an: “Anna, es gibt da vielleicht einen Slot am Freitag – machen wir das zusammen?” – “Auf jeden Fall!”
Schnell noch eine Playlist auf den Stick gezogen, ging es am Donnerstag mit ordentlich Aufregung und Ungewissheit im Gepäck zum Festival. Denn das offizielle Go für unseren Gig kam erst am Freitagmittag. 

Kurzes Einchecken, Tracks besprochen und wenig später standen wir schon am selben Abend von 23:30 - 1:30 Uhr hinterm Pult und hatten vor Aufregung und USB Stick Trouble alles vergessen, was wir besprochen hatten. Uff. Egal, nichts anmerken lassen. Denn uns strahlten so viele liebe und bekannte Gesichter an, was sollte schon schief gehen? 
Also haben wir losgelegt und das ist das Ergebnis. Ganz ehrlich? Nicht perfekt, nicht das Set, das wir vorbereitet hätten, nicht jeden Übergang ganz getroffen. Aber was heißt schon perfekt, wenn es darum geht, im Moment zu sein, gemeinsame Erinnerungen zu schaffen, umgeben von den liebsten Menschen? 

Dieses Set ist Freundschaft, gegenseitiger Support, Menschen zusammen zum Tanzen bringen, eine wilde Sammlung unserer liebsten Tracks und eine unserer schönsten Erinnerungen an den Sommer 2025. Also haben wir uns nach langem Hadern doch entschieden, die Aufnahme hochzuladen. Denn sie ist echt und ehrlich, genau wie der sweete Applaus am Ende, den wir aus sentimentalen Gründen einfach drin lassen mussten. Choochoo <3

Camillenfee B2B ANNAWAFFEL @ Spirit Space | Mystic Creatures Festival 2025

Last month I had the privilege of attending a small gathering a couple hours north of Cape Town in one of the most serene areas of the country, Citrusdal. The event took place on the Waterfall Farm; a venue I've attended before, but was recently taken over by a group of truly magical humans with a vision very similar to mine - building a space that fosters human creativity and expression whilst deeply caring for this magnificent land that we are so fortunate to call our home. ⛰️

The focus of the weekend wasn't just to dance, but to come together and take full advantage of what the land has to offer - slow mornings with yoga and breath work, followed by an afternoon relaxing at the massive waterfalls; with music only starting in the evening. Before I played we had a couple hours of acoustic performances and living singing till I took over just after 8pm. So this set is meant to bridge the gap between a live artist and the night of electronic music, with the inimitable @natasamusic playing after me. 🔥

As my first set in SA (outside of AfrikaBurn) for the year I thoroughly enjoyed bringing a ton of fresh music and having a crowd in front of me filled with mates - ahhh - this was special! Really happy with how this set turned out - I've had it on repeat for the last couple weeks 😄 Thanks again to @gurt_music for the invite and having me a part of this special gathering. Cannot wait to see how this concept and this venue evolves! 💃

Heute haben wir den waschechten Hamburger niklasecco mit einem Podcast bei uns zu Gast. Seit 2021 paddelt unser heutiger Protagonist durch die Untiefen der elektronischen Musikwelt – zunächst hauptsächlich in Berlin, bis er schließlich wieder in seinen Heimathafen einlief. Capitano niklasecco ist stets mit einer passenden Kopfbedeckung sowie einer Flöte perlenden Schaumweins ausgestattet.
