Welcome to The Big Smoke Super House Club IX, recorded live at Stringfellows during our epic “Partouze” night featuring headliners Djammin, Jammer, and The Menendez Brothers. This warm-up mix was played during the first hour before the crowd arrived, creating the perfect vibe in the heart of Covent Garden, London. 🎶

This edition is extra special, featuring two of my own tracks (Baby Baby Baby and Funshine) alongside some of my favorite soulful and deep house releases. It was an incredible night, with the one and only Skepta in attendance and my best friend Yves supporting me in the booth.

Hi, I’m Simkid, a French DJ/Producer based in London, crafting deep, soulful & groovy house with a warm, analog touch. My music has been released on some of the biggest labels in house music, including:

My sound?
A blend of deep house, tech house, disco and underground house, always with a touch of analog warmth, built with my Prophet-10, Alpha Base, TR-8S and spring reverb.

Beyond my studio work, I also bring a unique approach to the decks, mixing on 4 decks where I combine my own edits, unexpected acapellas and live loops.

I also run my own mix series, called The Big Smoke Super House Club, recorded live across London, blending the best in house music with my own unreleased material and fresh edits.

Before focusing fully on house, I built my DJ experience across the world, playing in cities like Paris, Luxembourg, Hong Kong, Dubai, Geneva, New York and London, where I’m now based.
