“Martin Luther” is an exciting new musical in development by Luke Simnett. It tells the fascinating story of the charismatic ‘Father of the protestant reformation’ Martin Luther; Thinker, Rebel, Liberator, Heretic. A mysterious German monk, who was to become one of the most controversial figures of history. This dramatic retelling of his story seeks to shed light on a man who was destined to ‘set the world on fire’.
 “Man of the mountains” comes at a pivotal point in the story where inspired by the prophets of old, Luther decides to take a stand against the corruption which he perceives in his beloved Church, a stand which is to have a profound impact on the whole of the western Christian world.

Luke Simnett is a cutting-edge upcoming writer, bringing the world thought-provoking new musical theatre.
They are currently in the process of promoting their forthcoming debut musical “Martin Luther” and have recently secured radio play on both sides of the Atlantic.
In 2013 Luke Simnett embarked on writing “Martin Luther” a challenging project which explores one of the most controversial figures of history: An obscure Augustinian monk from Germany who was to become one of the most influential religious leaders of all time.
