Entrance of the felted piano, with the strings in the background

Unknown territory: fear and hope mixed together.

This new song originated from the bass line (Korg MS20) and a field recording of my neighbourhood in Amsterdam (you can actually hear birds if your speakers are detailed enough). The main melody, introduced at 1:53 is a felted piano and an iced cold layer of eerie strings. The drum programming followed: I wanted a lot of "air" on the top end, with a precise and contained kick. The rest of the arrangement is made of many layers of synthesisers pads (Juno60, Prophet08), and Moog solo. I hope you will enjoy it :)

I took this picture in the Faroe Islands last summer. A very inspiring place.
