New York artist Karpinski debuts on ALT RECORDS with a five track EP. Having contributed to experimental film projects and soundtracks over the last few years (embryoroom, Fact Magazine), the artist offers a unique take on conventional electronic music and techno formats across the five pieces made for both dance floors, and/or even the most intense of listening sessions.

“No Gods” sets the stage during the 1930s – 1940s in Imperial Japan. The EP is dystopian, and while hauntingly emotional at times, it resolves itself to make us ponder not only the human condition, but is evocative of our deepest and rawest emotions.

ICONYC are pleased to welcome Berlin based ANMA to the label with his brand new two track 'Abaangui EP' to get any dust infused legs shaking. ANMA who hails from France and needs no further introduction to the electronic music loving soul, delivers a magnificent EP showcasing his exceptional production skills.

We kick things off with the title track 'Abaangui' a peak time techno dance floor monster which features a blend of deep bass tones, driving drum programming, cleverly chopped samples and intricately laced chord progressions, building to a massive breakdown before rebuilding to an unrelenting crescendo of energetic drum beats, chord stabs and an ever-warped bassline. 'Abaangui' is a club monster that growls from the minute you push the play button. 

The accompanying track 'Jasy Jatere' is another pumping club affair utilizing a hypnotizing synth chord as the basis of the track, before all manner of varied melodies weave in and out of the stereo field to close out this wonderful 2 track release in style. ANMA reinforces his reputation as one the scenes most consistent techno performers and once again showcases his huge array of production skills. Incredible stuff!
