The Mystical Forest

I wondered what this accordionist portrayed by a friend of mine was playing and where he was. I then decided that he was at ‘Acqua dei Corsari’, a beach in Palermo that had already been a landing place for bands of corsairs who had discovered a spring of fresh water here. And so the beach, which had become a suburb of Palermo, had a nice name.

Growing up in a family full of musicians, it was no big surprise that, as soon as I could walk, my first run was to the piano.

It must have been around age 11 that I first came across the American pianist and composer Jon Schmidt. His music had a tremendous influence upon me, and so my desire to become a full time musician myself was shaped quite early.

When I started recording, my first songs were all piano solos. I soon also discovered my love for orchestrating, but, you will hardly find a song of mine without the inspiring sound of the piano. 

Up to this day I have released 5 albums ( 7 if you also include my first attempts ). Besides these 5 albums there are all together almost 100 songs that I have been allowed to publish during the last 12 years. 

 Presently I am working on my 6th album called "Solitude", which will mainly be a piano solo album.

To me, there is no greater joy in life than to make a difference for the good. Music is such a wonderful tool to make such positive differences in this world. I hope that you, as you browse this site, listen to my music and watch my YouTube videos, can feel some of the joys that I was allowed to experience while writing these song.
