Mamas Cookin’ is all about reaching—breaking through personal barriers and realizing that real happiness usually lives in the small, everyday moments. 

A spontaneous collaboration between myself and Atlanta rapper/percussionist Munir Zakee (Weedie Braimah, Erykah Badu). We had never met before. In fact, we connected from opposite sides of the world via WhatsApp. Munir jammed out the lyrics in one take from a hotel room somewhere before a gig, and they landed so powerfully and universally that it felt like we had discussed the song topic for years. It was eerie—like he was reading my mind

Track also features the unstoppable Michael League on bass joining the ARP synth, tracked during the Atlanta sessions on an off day on tour

Take off ! The debut single has landed 

'Run & Hide' is the lead single of the 'Pressing Matters' project. Written way back and sung masterfully by Tony Momrelle, it stood the test of time and was always going to be the single.

The track is s a prayer whispered to the stories we wrap ourselves in—those comforting half-truths we tell to keep the harder realities at bay. Like old friends, they offer shelter for a while. They let us believe we don’t need to face what matters most. But the real danger isn’t in the hiding—it’s in the regret that may come for us when we never step forward at all.
