The longest intro in the world just got even longer by me slowing it down !!!!

This is my favourite tune in the whole world ever bar none, love it to bits. This getting dropped by Goldie at Outlook Festival was my favourite moment of the whole of last year.

I am renowned by my mates for switiching the lights on and off in time with this if it ever gets dropped at a house party - which always annoys everyone but I find it funny!

I've stuck very very closely to the original with just a few changes and extra bits here and there. 

Yes its slow it's meant to be if you don't like that play the original!!!

EXTERMINATE!!!!!! - Everybody behind the sofa quick!!! The daleks used to scare the **** out of me when I was little!!! This tune is probably a bit scary too cos I've only used headphones and not had a chance to check the levels properly, must get some neighbours that enjoy the perfect blend!!!

DJ Seduction - Hardcore Heaven (Simon Harris 2011 Remix)

Another 91 Remix Project Track, cheating a bit with this one the original was released back in 1991 but this is a remix of the remix complete with Beatles bit, George Harrison has passed away so hopefully I won't get sued or anything. Paul McCartney is probably too busy shovelling as much viagra down his neck as he possibly can at the moment. (My bird is 15 years my junior trust me I know how he feels!!!!)
Anyway this tune as usual has only been produced on my trusty sennheisers I've not had a chance to listen to it on anything else so don't blame me if it doesn't sound as polished as most of the rubbish out there these days. I personally can't be bothered to spend 4 hours making a hihat sound amazing I would much rather spend my time sample hunting and making horrible noises!!!

So here's the first of my 2012 remixes and like the first of my 1991 remixes its a track put together by the bloke who owned the original record labeI that I appeared on back in 1992.
Its also the first track I've completed in a couple of months after the nightmare of losing my laptop, the final track I did for the 91 remixes was nearly finished - Q-Bass - Hardcore Will Never Die which alas will never appear.
In good news one of my 1991 remixes Manix - Special Request did win (joint) first place in the 91 Remix Project competition.
As always I've only knocked this up on headphones and for some reason every thing sounds slightly different through my trusty Sennheisers (thank god they didn't get nicked!) so at some point I'll probably adjust the levels etc or I may not!
Anyone with any ideas for 92 tracks they want to see me remix let me know!!!!

The Moog - Jungle Muffin (Simon Harris 2012 Hardcore It Future Jungle It Remix)

Big big big 1992 tune from T-Power, he said it was OK for me to remix it, I'll let you know what he reckons to it once he's heard! Hopefully should be useful to you DJ's looking for something to get you from 140 to 170, I'll put up another mix when its ready the other way round and will probably do another mix at the original 154bpm!!!

One of my all time favourites, love love love it !!!

I've not used the original Korgi's vocals just to be a bit different, if you recognise the vocalist then you  not only do you win a prize (I'm serious)  but you are also a massive loser with very bad taste!!!

A lot of you will be glad to know I'm back to a faster 156 BPM, I don't know I spend £65 on getting vocals for that last tune give it to you lot for free and all I get is grief about it being slow!!!!!

If you are one of those people that downloads all of my tunes and never leaves a comment its about time you did !!!!!

Heres a tune that I made around the end of 1993 I think, that my mate found on an old amiga disk in his attic yesterday!!! He found a few others so I'll put those up soon as well.

Its really fast for its time really horrible and noisy but I was on a hell of a lot of drugs around that time so thats what my brain felt like making at the time!!!

As usual only made on headphones so apologies for any dodgy levels I will get around to making a slightly longer version and getting it properly mastered at some point !!!!

Hi people I know I haven't been around for a while, but I've been proper busy doing loads and loads of evening classes learning programming!

Anyway I've got more time now, but have loads of projects built up that I need to get done before I get any new tunes or remixes done! 

Some crazy bastard wants to release 4 of my old amiga tunes on vinyl, so I'm trying to resource better versions of the samples in this tune and a few more.

Its times like this when I wish I was better organised back in the day and called my samples something other than parp1 parp2 dloop funnynoise weirdnoise etc etc a lesson to be learnt there people!

Any help I will appreciate and credit when its released!!!

The Untouchables - N'Joi This(Simon Harris 2018 Refix) FREE WAV !!

Another 1992 Remix from me, don't think I ever heard this tune out and about (maybe I did but had done too many snowballs) but I did used to own it on vinyl  (that's old folk speak for MP3 kids!)  and it was on loads of Even Better Than The Bestest Ever Rave Tracks 12 CDs (that's slightly younger folk speak for MP3 kids!)

As I normally do I've kept pretty faithful to the original but just replaced some of the original nice sounds with my own horrible noises!

If anyone can translate the lyrics for me I would love to know what they are!

As usual the quality of this is absolute gash at the moment cos only listened to it through headphones when I get around to listening to it on something else I may mix it down again I may not. 

So any ears out there that aren't as ruined as mine from countless years of noise abuse let me know if anything sounds off!

Here's the last thing I'm gonna knock up for 92 Remix Project. I remember the first time I heard this out raving near Xmas time totally loved it. Should be cheesy but it's not.

Heres another remix from me, there are a few original remixes of this so here's one in a different tempo - 145bpm Future Jungle Style.

Its based mainly on the best mix in my opinion which is the Origin Unknown one.

Thanks to the backtotheoldskool forum for finding me the "girl I'm starting to lose it" sample which back in the day I thought said "Come unstuck tend to lose it" but then I had lost it back then!

I found the laughing sample in an old amiga game.

The Dark Stranger sample is from a  Bram Stockers dracula documentary. I've used another little bit from that.

The bleeps are from Kraftwerk - Electric Cafe, if you're interested, I love a bit of sample spotting!!!!

Deep Blue - The Helicopter Tune (Simon Harris 2013 Future Jungle Remix)

Track A2 from my original piece of vinyl.

Thats me talking at the start hating on 2 Untalented!!! And some Edge No1 samples.....

The tune was made on an Amiga using Noisetracker (a soundtracker variant) At the time I wasn't trying to get the tunes released had no real idea of what I was doing and had just started making tunes for fun. I sampled things from everywhere, off cassette tapes, from TV shows copied on to VHS, talking/shouting into headphones rather than a mic. Crunching four breakbeats into one channel as Noisetracker only allowed you 4 channels to play with and basically just throwing stuff together.

One of my mates Chris (infamous for being on acid at my house for the first time when my parents were on holiday and seeing a picture of me and my sister at Madame Tussauds in the living room stood next to a waxwork of Benny Hill, and saying "fuck me your Dad doesn't half look like Benny Hill!!!) showed me an issue of Amiga Format magazine asking for rave tunes to be sent in to a record label that were made on the Amiga.

I sent a tape off and out of 2000 odd tapes that were received by the record label (Delirious 
Records most famous for The Moog Jungle Muffin) my one got chosen, mainly I think because one of the tunes that was on the tape (not on this EP) sampled the drums from the guy that ran the label's first tune - Rotor Kaleidoscope (love that tune to death still)

I wanted to call myself as an "artist" Arkham Asylum as in the Batman jail for the criminally insane and really liked the way the letters fitted together , both words starting with an A and ending in M with the same amount of letters inbetween. However the label wanted to use my real name "Simon Harris" so as to confuse people into buying it thinking it was by the Simon Harris as in "Bass How Low Can You go".

1000 copies were pressed and split between two distributors, one of the distributors went bust a few days later and 500 went missing and then because of the really bad sampling quality from me not really knowing anything about production or sound quality, the vinyl was never of a high enough quality to play out loud. The tunes were good but just sounded bad through a loud system.

I never heard the tune out raving (although my sister claimed to hear it once but I reckon she was just off her head!) and it all died a death.

A few years ago I googled the EP and was amazed to find some people talking about it on backtotheoldskool. I put up a few tunes that I had knocking about that were never released, a few people liked them and that inspired me to start producing again.

I'm amazed by the response that my tunes get (I still think most people think I'm the more famous Simon Harris) and feel that I should have put more effort into getting myself out there back in the day but was far too busy with E's, trips and whizz!

But all of this just all goes to show never give up. I have always loved this sound, was never into music before I heard Eon - Spice on some walkman headphones wandering though Harlow town centre. I will always love this sound and am so glad that so many like minded people out there actually appreciate the crap that I throw together. Thankyou!

Simon Harris - Logical Beats (1992 B-Hive Records)

Another tune from a dusty old Amiga disk from around 1992/93 made when I was the tender age of 18/19, proper intense, proper crazy, some mad samples, a drum loop from the amazing Ajax Project Mach III, an ELO sample, some bird from the TV talking about drugs a "real Simon Harris" sample just to confuse people even more plus a load of weird noises!!! 

Listening to it now, I can still feel the drugs rushing through me - hope you do too !!!

Hi I'm Simon Harris, no not that one, but the one that's "famous" for a really badly produced old skool record released in 1992 on Bhive Records - Logical Beats EP, http://www.discogs.com/Simon-Harris-Logical-Beats/release/314179  have had another piece of vinyl released on Paranoid Recordings in January 2011 (go buy it!)

Only just got back into producing the old skool rave sound in the last couple of years think I must be having a mid life crisis,I have all the signs, a car thats way too fast, a rapidly expanding waistline, wonderful kids that live with the ex, drink and smoke far too much for someone of my age and now really love listening to the same type of music I used to listen to as a teenager..........

Just to confirm I am not Simon Harris as in Bass How Low Can you Go. Simon Harris is the name that I was born with and my record label in 1992 made me use it so as to confuse people and get some more copies sold. It still confuses people to this day!
