...Childhood holidays...... this is the second half of 'River Shine' ...the 6th track of 'The Evolving 9th Hour' ...sort of a dreamy 'third eye' part of the project... so more atmospheric than some of the other tracks... and may suite some visual this one... 'Rejuvenate and Regenerate' is from the second album by 'The Evolving 9th Hour' a chillout project specializing in 'Organic Chill-out'

‘The Evolving 9th Hour’ is the project created by ex- 70 Gwen Party front-man Victor N’dip, now back to Simon Horsefield.

70 Gwen Party were one of the BBC Radio 1 DJ John Peels favorite bands in the mid 90’s recording 4 sessions for his show alongside playing all of their self produced label releases.

  N’dip famously turned down Major labels that effectively may have compromised the integrity of the music

The band were actually discovered by Mark E Smith of The Fall, who recorded them and described one of their tracks ‘Walkabout’ as genius.

Simon Horsefield left the music business at the end of the 90’s to re charge musically. Initially teaching guitar. This period included a lesson  to a young ‘Lily Allen’ several years before she rose to fame

  ‘The Evolving 9th Hour’ is a complete musical re-invention from 70gp, continuing to innovate and breaking down barriers but in a very new form.  Hardly commercial in the conventional sense, but the late night chill-out part of the project has been augmented with melodic ‘singles‘ now getting airplay.
  With most of the ‘National‘ media now dominated by corporate pluggers and business manipulation it’s great to see BBC ‘local‘ radio stations giving the project airplay and interviews!
  THE SPIRIT OF THE ORIGINAL PEEL/JOHN WALTERS shows Is still alive here!
  
This is important as in the days of Unscrupulous DJ appropriation (The ‘Fagin’ ones that cynically steal unknown artists ideas)  the original ‘creators’ are getting recognition is important
I’m hoping that ‘The Evolving 9th Hour’s‘ music will now move to a new level of ‘national’ airplay and it would be great to get some interviews and  on these wider platforms (Also discussing 70gp) now that the new album ‘Version 3: Places We Remember’ has established a new level of quality for the project!
 
 PS 'The Evolving 9th Hour' also are lucky enough to have some amazing collaborations on the project with the great Noam Chomsky and writer Gregory Sams giving their personal permission for use of their 'dialogue' on different tracks!
