Wassu will always hold a special mantle at the TOR imprint, as the man who inaugurated the label with his Andu EP. Since then, the New Yorker has turned heads over the last year with a string of enthralling releases on the likes of Anjunadeep, TRYBESof, and When We Dip XYZ. With each passing project, Wassu’s mastery of warm melodies and boastful basslines deepens. His latest offering, the Escape Alone EP, is some of his best work yet.

Wassu continues to propel vocal harmonies with Lumynesynth providing a soaring touch on the closer - Awaken. A signature groove-tinged bassline ebbs effortlessly through the arrangement, offering a punchy appeal to a dreamy number. 'Transit' is an Interpretation of falling asleep while taking public transportation and how what your listening to drifts off into dreams and then the doors noisily opening bringing you back to reality for a moment and then you nod back to sleep and your dream im similar and yet different. 

The harp played in the begginig and chopped up throuh the track is from a talented friend :)

I havent finished this track and untill I have the to possibilty to I figured Id post it in the meantime for you to enjoy :)

Rotterdam-natives Joep Esseling and Bram Harmsen make up Esteble. The duo have carved their path within the electronic music world, with releases on international imprints including Diynamic Music, Stil Vor Talent and Connaisseur Recordings gaining them support from BBC Radio 1’s Annie Mac, Max Cooper, Solomun and more. Esteble now return to Anjunadeep with their ‘Mind Heart Self EP’.

 First heard on the labels flagship compilation, Anjunadeep 11, ‘Mind Heart Self’ features thought-provoking words from Lazarusman, a Johannesburg-based poet who many will recognise from his earlier collaboration with Tim Engelhardt. ‘Moorea’ is filled with deep grooves and futuristic synths whilst polyrhythmic track ‘Lapacho’ closes the EP.
