Sunlight to Sun-down set @ Clync in the Courtyard

Clync Sunset Set

This set was first performed on January 1st 2024 in San Francisco at the Breakfast of Champions block party on the Space Cowboys main stage.

A RE:CONSTRUCTED set is a *long* way removed from a standard DJ set. It's a live/hybrid set.

Simon takes hundreds of tracks from his huge library, painstakingly deconstructs them (using Ai if needed to separate elements from the original tracks), and then pieces everything back together to create a hugely emotive and immersive musical story.

He uses Ableton Live and multiple controllers to trigger up to 16 individual channels of audio at any one time during the performance, and also performs live keyboard overdubs. The end result is a hugely addictive, compulsive and compelling blend of music that's often new, often familiar but always utterly unique.

Dosem Boiler Room x IR Girona DJ Set

I’m one half of the The Back Room, the brainchild of Luke Stereo and I. A 21st century Balearic acid disco, joining the dots between sci-fi disco, dub, acid house, balearica, afrobeat, post punk disco, eastern rhythms and more. Luke and I currently host The Back Room venue at Glastonbury Festival and play regularly at a number of venues, festivals and clubs.

A resident for Bristol night Empathy with my good mate Stuart Wilkinson which has been running for over 20 years and I’ve played with Sasha/Digweed, Laurent Garnier; Bushwacka, Danny Howells Jody Wisternoff and Nick Warren in past couple of years.
