Sacha Ketterlin’s third release on Higher Resonance, Shaman’s Dance, is a mesmerizing four-track EP that once again showcases his unparalleled ability to craft immersive sonic journeys. The journey begins with "Rituals," a meditative introduction that sets the tone for the EP. As my second time being invited to play on the hallowed Market Stage, I was tasked with the transition between the night time prog psy and the day time prog house session. Playing after local legend Azrin (@unstablesounds) and before the awesome Kase Kochen (@k-se-kochen) I had the chance to give it a nudge, seizing the opportunity to flex the epic sound system. This set contains chunky breakfast time techno with rolling bass lines, enchanting melodies and a touch of psychedelia for good measure... 

Thank you to all of the beautiful souls and deadset legends who got up early (or stayed up late) to hear my set this year. The vibe was amazing and I cannot thank you enough. I'm sure the smile on my face showed just how much fun I was having!! 

For those who weren't there, picture a brightly coloured stage, a sound system tuned to make your knees go weak, a dusty dance floor with sunshine warming the day through the trees, and a sea of smiling faces getting their stomp on <3 x

It was an honour, a dream and so much fun to play - I had the time of my life!! :-)

Rainbow Serpent Festival 2019 Artist Application

Last night the vibe at My Aeon was second to none. I don't think i've ever seen that place pump and heave like that before. The place was literally packed wall to wall with a line around the corner the whole night.

Through focusing his passion for raw underground sounds on his DJ sets, Simon Murphy has spent the better part of the last decade turning more than a few heads playing an eclectic blend of musical madness from his favourite producers from across the globe. 

Delving into a forever growing collection of tunes, Simon Murphy does not restrict himself to any one sound, spinning anything from electronica to deep house & tech house, techno & progressive to the harder edged sounds best enjoyed on a dusty dancefloor and everything in between.
