The Pull Up Master

Here is a guitar and string quartet piece I wrote for my portfolio at Edinburgh Napier University on my Mum's old guitar. I was influenced by Martyn Bennett, Arvo Part and The Study of Orchestration by Samuel Adler. It's about finding happy things to do with the people you love to remember someone.

Big Thank you to Danny Robinson on drums and to Liam Shorthall on trombone. Both guys I've had wonderful experiences playing music with and with out whom this fairly minimal and abstract compositional idea would not have become this piece of music.
