Don’t know if you’ll see this Simon, but just wanted to say thank you for this marvellous interview with Terry. I’ve been a fan of his ever since I discovered him when he joined Dire Straits and then checked all his back history with Dave Edmunds and Nick Lowe.

Didn’t quite finish , but just wanted to say that he was so influential in my development as a drummer. I nearly wore out my Dad’s Video player back in 1984 watching Alchemy over and over with my drum kit set up in front of the Tele copying all the drum licks Terry laid down in that performance....I use them all the time. Was so good to hear all the back stories. Many thanks once again.👍😎🥁

Oh my he makes playing for Mark sound like such a chore and a pay cheque of course Mark wanted perfection it was his music ..

While Terry is a joy to listen to, it seems there's a clever edit when he starts to talk about Hal Lindes. Sounds as if Hal got a bit of a bad deal.
