The Breakbeat Junkie rose to fame in the early days of the Nu Funk Breakbeat mid tempo scene with a tonne of Funky Breaks tracks mostly released through the Goodgroove label. His tracks and remixes have graced other labels too such as Breakbeat Paradise Recordings and he secretly known to be part of the duo Second Hand Audio. This mix was a promo for Goodgroove Records for the year 2009.

About Denver Drake:
Denver is Santa Cruz area DJ.  He started DJing for family dance parties on an iPad and fell in love with all the crazy good electronic music that has been coming out for the last several years.  He has done several weddings and school dances and loves to share music and show people a good time.  New school house, bass house, tech house, g house, and occasionally breaks is on the menu for most of his favorite sets.  He grew up listening to lots of hip hop and punk and tries to bring a level of fun and angst in every set.

This Friday night the notorious DJ outfit, Scratch Perverts, will head up our third room for something of an uber set as they prepare to take over the room for the whole six hours. Considering the long history we share with Tony Vegas and Prime Cuts, an extended show from the duo has most certainly been a long time coming and it's fully certified to deliver a very, very special experience. Each show was designed to illuminate the listener to different facets of my career up until that point. I basically had three hours to bring people up to speed so that the new album had context. At one point they asked me what I was going to name it, and I had a funny picture of a guy in my phone, so I used his image and added the hashtag '#Radioface,' for whatever reason.
