This is one of my first forays into what I might call "hybrid" recording, playing all the Guitars & Bass, then a few synth notes. I then meticulously programmed everything else with only a mouse. It was a lot of fun, especially the "Sax Solo".

Where Were You?

I started writing this before the Pandemic started. The music came together fairly quickly, but the lyrics....The opening verses were recorded over a year ago & then I got stuck. I finally put in some serious time to finish all the lyrics & new vocals. The song is about writer's block & being away from live performing. Like all my recordings, it's all self-produced. I'm really glad I finished it.
