Simona Pirone is a singer/ songwriter from Montreal. She was born in Naples  Italy, and grew up between Italy and Canada; as a result she speaks three languages. She sang for many international artists before embarking on a solo career. Among many collaborations she toured Europe with Richard Cocciante, and sang on Zucchero's (Senza una donna) with Paul Young; when she lived in Italy she was chosen as the voice of Princess Jasmine in the Italian adaptation of Walt Disney's movie Aladdin.
Still the rage was Simona Peron's North-American debut release and the singles Give me a sign and Rain on me charted on over 60 stations across Canada. The video Rain on me played on Musi Max in high-rotation. 
Simona is now focusing on songwriting.  In the year 2000  Roch Voisine recorded Comme co-written by Simona, which was the hit single in France that launched the album Chaque feu. In 2002 Roch Voisine also recorded Since you left and Never  on his last English album Higher, written by Simona. She also acted in “Foreign Ghost” an indie movie by director Hunt Hoe.
Simona still lends her voice to the studio. Simona has a three-octaves vocal range.
