A stone thrown, just to watch it fly. A projectile launched for the sole purpose of drawing a ballistic trajectory in the sky.
The Solens arc is what remains after the subtraction of the goal; a simple parabolic curve defined by gravity, impulse and starting angle. No target to hit, no catharsis to wait for, just the beauty of the flight.

The Arc as the purpose, in the form of four variations, constructed from disintegrated melodic textures and dismantled beats. Each sequences are assembled seamlessly into dense, evolving compositions, while keeping their autonomy, and their role in the global dramaturgy.

Pointillist serial loops morph into abrasive rave anthems, broken club rhythms are refitted into uneven patterns, like deconstructivist sound architectures. Industrial techno stompers dissolve into granular sound waves and filtered space pads, before being overtaken by cinematic drums and rising arpeggios.

Solens Arc is Kangding Ray’s fourth Album for raster-noton.

For the labels 37th release we welcome Nick Elia and Ly Sas for a joint EP, eight tracks of techno, and two ambient tracks by Nick Elia as intro and outro. Technowise we have, four originals and four remixes, remixes from Henge, Swardz, Jish, and label head Scenedrone. also, two original ambient/experimental techy tracks from Nick Elia, making it 4 originals from the London based DJ, providing lots of variety and skill in his ability, a true audio aficionado, and his talent is on display here with 4 originals, from the eerie "Ghost In The Machine" & "Living Organism" to the banging originals "Elixir" and "Diversion". Ly Sas has come on board with two immense originals in "Vigilance" and "Agony" two very powerful tracks that are sure to go down well in any set, and on remix duties for her two tracks are Variance regular Henge, and Dublin based Jish has connected with label head Scenedrone to remix the other, first collab between the two, hopefully its not the last, with results like this, they should keep it going. Also on remix duties from Ly Sas is label regular Swardz, and label head Scenedrone with a solo remix. This LP goes all the way from the sub 100 bpm opener, all the way to Swardz 144 banger, and everything in between, one that can't be missed, we hope you enjoy this quality release. To complete the journey throught this immensity , 2 grate masters of electronic music, Claudio PRC and Wrong Assessment , brought us superlative and energic remixes.

Witches Are Back collective released a 13 tracks compilation to support the campaign “Nessuna da sola - sostieni le sexworker” promoted by the transfeminist collective Ombre Rosse and a wide network of pro-sexworkers associations.

The original tracks are donated by 13 artists, and express many shades of the witches' sound: from noise to industrial, from techno to acid house, from dancefloor oriented tracks to electronic experiments.

The purpose is collecting funds to help sexworkers in Italy during the COVID19 emergency.
In Italy many "non conventional" jobs have no real income (mostly black money) and are invisible for the italian government. So they have naturally no access to any kind of social assistance benefit. For the sexworkers already living in precarity and difficult conditions, this has become a real humanitarian crisis.
