Todays guestmix comes from House of Disco's founder 'Magnier'. It's been a while since his last mix for us and with the summer being in full swing it seemed like the right time to get another out there and keep the mix series moving. This mix is full of classic laid-back summer tracks, some guilty pleasures and a few cheeky edits. Mostly these tracks are the ones that have been following him around and resurfacing time and time again. Step outside, open a beer and enjoy it while it lasts folks.

Here's the third volume of my Verano Mix series. I've been pulling songs together for it for the last couple of months, and I'm quite happy with what came together. Its an hour to tell the story of a summer day, sunrise to sunset. If everything is right, this should be an escape, a pathway to losing your problems for a day. Put this on, get your windows down, and let your hair get a little messed up. I hope you like it!

Goldroom - Verano Mix 2013

Inspired by the sounds of Doctor Dru, The Mekanism, Hot Since 82, Larse and Pete Oak, https://soundcloud.com/shimmermusic is working his way up at the moment. Producing for 3 years now he is growing and making new music with Sivesgaard and Marco Darko. Next to dj’ing and producing he is also A&R Manager for the upcoming label from dutch organization Pleinvrees, who is also part of the collaboration project DGTL with Straf_werk. The Record label is called Pleinvrees Records and will start off with an EP from Robin Schulz.

Shimmer has some cool gigs to look forward to the coming months in Kiev, Paris, London and Aalborg. This Friday he plays in Zurich at Club Bellevue. Some more stuff is coming soon for Shimmer but that can’t be announced just yet. For now enjoy his fresh mix and check him out soon at one of his gigs.

When I make a mix I try and tell a story. These aren't the newest or coolest songs on the block, and you probably wont hear me DJing most of them.
