"Harmonious Discord is excited to welcome Suffolk based producer - Jake Beautyman (Bosh Recordings, Bombis, Damolh Records, Priroslin) to the label with an abstract-leaning dance record focused on disorienting melodies and sharp percussion.

The "Shadow Them Hills" release as a whole is a tense and satisfying exploration of audio signals and sonic creepiness. 
The Original Mix of the EP's title track tempers warehouse drum construction with carefully placed sampling. Escalating arpeggios dance around each other as siren sounds progress the music forward whilst thermin-esk haunted leads sweep through during the multiple reprises. It makes for a fantastic tool to turn up the energy in your set and set sails for darker waters!
Jake closes out the project with a fitting b-side called Release and Guidance. A deep & dubby techno stomper with acid elements. The selection features a similar focus on the abstract, now accompanied by vocal samples and detuned modular plucks.
