CRUSH VS BEN DAVIS 2020.WAV

Since returning from a recent trip to Playa del Carmen and Tulum, I’ve been searching out and selecting deeper, tribalistic tracks that incorporate organic sounds of the jungle and ancient percussive rhythms.  A bit more of a reductionist approach to my normal selections.  While I still enjoy the driving elements of house, tech house and techno, it’s soothing and invigorating to find these gems.

I’ll be uploading multiple Dj mixes embodying the sounds of the trip.  From the chill, beachy vibes to the rooftop tunes in Playa del Carmen and also the jungle journeys of Tulum.

This is one of my first real mixes that I was proud enough to release back in 98'... This mix helped me to get booked all over the midwest.Things were way different back then and my soul purpose was to make people move nonstop for as long as possible! Sets back then were easy 3 to 4 hours long...and I craved it!!! The walls would sweat and kids were rocking their asses off!!! This was the same year my beautiful daughter was born, hence the pic <3  Im posting this 20 years later to celebrate and share the music that lit us all on fire!! This is dedicated to Throwback and my homie Trinity for celebrating the classics!!! Big LOVE <3 !!!! Ty Seattle allowing me to continue my dream still to this very day!
