Midnight Crush - Old School Tools

Originally written in 2004 or 2005 to use as a bumper track on YPR in Baltimore. The title reflects my attempt to tone down the frenetic speed and timbres of my electronic tracks of that period. 

Remastered in Summer 2016 for an upcoming release as Midnight Crush. 



Midnight Crush - Ambient Ambition

A cover of Emperor's "Inno A Satana" programmed in Jeskola Buzz in 2004, and remastered in Summer 2016.  

An irony: that mine own laziness hath prevented an ende in an ode to Satan. 

Midnight Crush - InnoASatana (Emperor cover)

A sequenced track composed in Jeskola Buzz in 2003-2004. This one showcases certain sounds and panning ideas (multiple drum kits!) I was exploring at the time. 

The composition is straightforward, with an early blunt transition, and is a blend of super-dramatic melancholy melodic synth themes, against programmed robotic extreme metal drum patterns, and a minimalist-era-Ulver fanboy outro. 

Remastered in 2016 for an upcoming release as Midnight Crush. 

Midnight Crush - Toward Thy Volcanoe

Simon (guitar) and Vivek (drums) performing a freely improvised jam together in August 2003. 

Recorded with a couple of mics onto cassette tape with a Tascam 414 and bounced to digital in mono (lol). 

Remastered by Simon in Summer 2016. Some guitar parts that come up were later folded into Midnight Eye tracks (e.g. "MTLMTN").
