The Westend in Munich is a lively, vibrant and multi-cultural neighborhood and everywhere you go you discover interesting soundscapes that became the basis for this very atmospheric and slightly avant-garde deep house track: Oriental music booms out of Indian snack bars, buildings are being demolished with heavy equipment, Vespas are being repaired on the street, well after midnight young people play table tennis or someone in the neighborhood is having another party - fascinating not to observe life with your eyes but to listen closely and to alienate all kinds of sounds and thus capture the mood of the neighborhood and create an unusual track out of it: soflo! And the break - we do promise! - will for sure surprise you. Ever heard a track like that before? :p

So imagine that  the goddess Calliope (a patron deity of music in ancient Greece) somehow fell into a time warp that has taken her into the 80's where she was introduced to electro funk music. As she pondered this new sound she decided to  bring some of that  back to Olympus with her to entertain the gods. And what a party it was! 

So I was sort of inspired by the beauty and serenity of the Harp and decided to  electrify it ...:)
