I wrote this song leading up to Friends General Conference Gathering 2017. It is inspired by the work of Pamela Boyce Simms, Rumi's poem The Whaterwheel, and Joni Mitchel's song Woodstock.

I started writing songs using the guitar as accompaniment at the end of 2012 while I was living in the cloud forests of Costa Rica and volunteering at a bi-lingual Quaker school. I play an Ariana classical guitar; a gift from my eldest sibling. I draw inspiration from a background of intercultural and interfaith multi-media art and performance.
