Get you back is a written without the conventional arrangements of DNB. It combines, analog and digital gear arranged and written is RUBIX's typical deep melodic way.

This demo is for the relaxed, meditative state of mind. 10 tracks that have been intertwined instead of mixed. It is a continuous exploration of production and emotion. 

The idea is to help aid a rest using Drum and bass. This minimal release is smooth, soothing and essential if you like to listen to DNB that is extremely relaxing.

The first Melted Music release for 2016 is here. 

RUBIX takes a step back in time to the mid 2000's and reworks some old samples and older synth sounds to create two drum and bass works.

Influences from Break and Early Shapeshifter NZ can be heard woven into the arrangement. ' It was the sound that had the most impact with me as a young man ' - RUBIX. 

From tight sandy breaks to melodic rhodes Key, Melted Music is staying classy and original with another strong release.

Christchurch DNB producers No One & RUBIX team up to present two tech rollers. For production they used mostly outboard analogue synths including a Moog, Arturia and a virus.

Lancaster is a bouncy roller that features that iconic Moog richness, it is explosive with intricate drum parts. Its full wall of sound makes the track interesting in the mix and a stand out when played on its lonesome.

Followed by Emergence, a track that showcases the two producers merging their sound together. With its cinematic properties and unearthly arrangement it proves that the deep, tech sound is still embedded well into the Christchurch soil.

The final two tracks are produced by RUBIX. Ricochet & Civil War. 
Both tracks keep the technical theme of the EP but also push the Darker elements from the Melted Music head man.
